Hootin&Hollarin rolled around on schedule in September and I helped with the Ava Art Guild booth again! This year I decided to bring some of my stained glass sun catchers to display for sale. I used my bi-fold wire earring display and it worked fairly well. The sun catchers look better with light behind them to really show off the glass but the white poster board did a nice job. The tent set up didn’t lend itself to displaying the glass with natural light so I improvised. I also took wire and post dichroic glass earrings to round out my contribution to the arts and crafts. There were lots of people enjoying the festivities this year and we could not have asked for better weather. Well, maybe a little cooler the first two days but we had clear sunny skies so it was all good. Maybe I will see you there next year!
