Sticky Fingers | Making Dichroic Fused Glass Jewelry

It has been a crazy month and I have neglected to add to the next step in my jewelry process. So here is the step that causes a lot of fussing and cussing at my house! Gluing findings to glass! I start by matching the finding with the glass pieces. In the picture I am putting glass in designs for barrettes. I use E6000 glue which is very sticky and usually ends up on my fingers and other places I would prefer it not to be. I squeeze glue onto the finding or glass and stick them together. I then put the piece into a location that is safe from my cats. In 24 hours the jewelry is safe to handle and I can attach the individual pieces to cards for display. The entire process of making dichroic fused glass jewelry takes about 3-4 days start to finish.
